ALM, IAR, VAR for the Beginner to Intermediate

NOTE: This webinar is for existing FARIN clients only!

Learning Objectives:

Provide a user with an understanding of ALM theory, IAR evaluation process and VAR analysis process.

Program Content:

The first session will provide users, other members of your staff or board members with a look at Asset and Liability Management theory. Discussions will center on modeling, the proper setting of financial instrument characteristics, the information needed from your download files and GAP analysis. The second session, Income at Risk, will center on forecast strategies, targeting, rate environments and decision making forecast reports. The final session will focus on a look at the Value at Risk (Market Value) process; discussion will center on decision and policy making procedures and discuss the over all process of Interest Rate Risk.

Who Should Attend:
New personnel with little background in ALM, ALCO team members, ALM model users, board members and any other personnel looking for a better understanding of Asset and Liability Management.
